CHARLÍS Orange Blossom Body Butter

Cetearyl Olivate & Sorbitan Olivate: 

Cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate are natural skin-healing ester-based substances made from olive oil. They can provide a delivery system for other nutrients and also take the place of the harsh and harmful emulsifiers and thickeners found in commercial products. 

Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut Oil): 

What is there not to love about coconut oil? Super moisturizing, filled with healing saturated fats, and protein-building essential amino acids, cocos nucifera is also an anti-bacterial agent. It can defend and protect your skin by creating a natural barrier against damaging elements while it keeps moisture in. Coconut oil can help clear up acne, reduce inflammation, and so much more. 

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter): 

Shea butter is a tried-and-true superstar when it comes to skin. It has the ability to soften as well as hydrate because of the many fatty acids contained in it, such as lineoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic fatty acids. These acids help to protect skin from the damaging rays of the sun as well as harmful environmental toxins while it soothes and renews. 

Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed (Cupuacu Butter):

It helps improve the elasticity of the skin and keeps it soft and supple. Cupuacu butter also contains high amounts of antioxidants and phytosterols which help fight inflammation and protect skin from environmental damage. It effectively hydrates skin and prevents skin from dehydrating.

Saccharide Isomerate:

Helps maintain the skin's natural moisture barrier and therefore helps smoothing and plumping of skin. The size of the molecule is also important for Saccharide Isomerate skincare as it is smaller than other hydrating ingredients and can therefore deeply penetrate skin.

Saccharide Isomerate is a 100% plant-derived complex carbohydrate compound designed to resemble the skin’s natural moisturizing properties. It has the amazing ability to leave your skin hydrated for up to 72 hours.  Saccharide isomerate is designed to sooth and calm even the most sensitive of skin types. 

Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu plum): 

It comes from the Kakadu plum a fruit native to Australia, It is the richest fruit in vitamin C in the world. The fruit was traditionally eaten by the Aborigines of northern Australia as a medicinal food. It is now recognised as one of the world’s Super-Fruits. Kakadu Plums contain up to 4% Ascorbic Acid making it the world’s richest source of Vitamin C. Unlike most foods the Vitamin C content is remarkably stable and thought to be naturally stabilized by an enzymic biofeedback system. The vitamin C content of one small Kakadu plum is equivalent to around 10 oranges.

Helianthus Annuus Extract (Sunflower): 

Sunflower is an emollient and an extremely hydrating substance for your skin. It is also full of skin-nourishing substances such as oleic acid. Sunflower has been shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and help to clean up dead skin cells for a fresh, renewed look every day.  

Oryza Sativa Bran Extract:

A technical term used for rice. Rice bran hydrates skin and helps it retain moisture, resulting in softer, smoother skin. It is a fast absorbing oil that is not tacky or oily. Rice bran oil is said to boost skin's natural regeneration process and nourish skin cells with vitamins and antioxidants.

Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract:

With its potent antibacterial qualities, rosemary essential oil helps fight the acne bacteria from getting into your pores. This quality, combined with rosemary oil's non-comedogenic properties, means that acne has no foothold as the oil both clears out pores and forms a protective barrier against future breakouts.  Studies have shown that the carnosic and rosmarinic acids in rosemary have powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.

ORGANIC ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE

Aloe Barbadensis is another word for Aloe Vera. Aside from being a staple in your mother's medicine cabinet for sunburned skin, this amazing plant has been used by different civilizations for centuries for a range of skin care, health, and medicinal purposes. It’s a great moisturizer and also helps wound healing and skin regeneration in general.

CARTHAMUS TINCTORIUS OLEOSOMES

Rich in safflower seed oil and vitamin E and linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid for moisture locking), these tiny oil droplets work both as natural emulsifiers as well as slow- time-released delivery systems, giving the skin long-lasting moisture to maintain the hydration of the skin.

Safflower is a beautiful orange flower grown all around the world. It is particularly famous for its health packed safflower seeds which can contain 23% to 37% fatty acids. It also acts as a lubricant, forming a barrier, which prevents water from escaping, helping the skin retain water which then leaves the skin radiant, soft, and smooth while enhancing the texture as well as the skin tone, leaving radiant soft youthful skin.

Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil:

Extracted from the fruit of a small tree, this sweet-smelling oil is great for toning, cleansing and gently antiseptic. It soothes skin irritations, minimizes the look of scars and other marks on the skin, and also helps even out skin tone by influencing melanin production. It is also packed with flavonoids that soothe and calm skin, bergamot is perfect for nourishing a tired complexion.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil:

The essential oil from the rind of the orange, this oil has demonstrated antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, skin lightening, and anti-microbial properties and can be beneficial in skin care formulations. Hesperidin has also been shown to offer skin protection against UVA-induced damage of fibroblasts and collagen.

Citrus Paradisi Peel oil:

Extracted from the peel of the grapefruit, this oil contains naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that help promote smoother, younger looking skin by increasing the rate of cell renewal. It also contains astringent and tightening properties, and due to potent antibacterial and antimicrobial effects, it’s the perfect ingredient to treat and protect acne-prone skin.

CHARLÍS Neutral Tinted Face Moisturizer SPF25

Allantoin: 

Allantoin is a star when it comes to providing relief to the driest skin types. It is a phytonutrient that is extracted from the comfrey plant (and can also be found in other healing plants, like chamomile). Allantoin is ideal for rough, scaly and even itchy skin as well as minor skin irritations.

Panthenol: 

Panthenol is a precursor to vitamin B5 and a humectant, meaning it is designed to help the skin retain water. It can also help to soothe dry and irritated skin, soften rough skin, and lower inflammation. Panthenol helps with elasticity too, making skin strong and supple. Ready for smooth, glowing skin? Panthenol can help you get there! 

Artemisia Vulgaris Extract (Mugwort): 

Mugwort is an all-natural antioxidant and anti-bacterial. As such, it is a skin protectant. It is also packed with both collagen-building vitamin C and skin-rejuvenating vitamin A which can build up vibrant skin cells while at the same time defending against harmful agents. Artemisia Vulgaris is especially helpful to calm and sooth sensitive skin. 

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2: 

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 is a restorative peptide substance specifically designed to repair damaged skin. It works on the cellular level to encourage both collagen and elastin production. Some studies have even found that acetyl tetrapeptide-2 had the ability to increase cellular growth by 51% in just 5 days! Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 also increases keratin production to encourage cellular regeneration.

This plant has natural anti-inflammatory properties, perfect to soothe irritated skin, making this a great face cleanser for sensitive skin. Willowherb is also an antioxidant that can help prevent cell damage by protecting them from free radicals.
